It has since broadened its perspective to include talks on many scientific, cultural, political, humanitarian, and academic topics. English Language Day is celebrated every year on April 23rd. The date of the celebration was chosen in honor of the date of birth and the date of death of the famous English playwright, the national symbol of England - William Shakespeare. The event was launched by the United Nations Organisation on February 19, 2010. The purpose of the English Language Day is to spread the use of English as one of the six languages of the United Nations Organisation, to involve society in multilingualism.

Paraphrasing is a crucial skill in language learning, especially when it comes to academic writing. According to the Cambridge dictionary “paraphrase” means to repeat something written or spoken using different words, often in a humorous form or in a simpler and shorter form that makes the original meaning clearer. In other words, paraphrase means to rewrite a sentence or paragraph in your own words.
