OPENING OF THE EDUCATIONAL LABORATORY OF MARKET RESEARCHES AT THE STATE UNIVERSITY OF TELECOMMUNICATIONS

There are several competitive advantages of the marketing specialists training at our university, in compare to classical higher education institutions. We offer not only thorough fundamental, basic vocational training, but also high-quality practice-focused training aimed at the development of professional competences of marketing specialists and formation of competences of marketing activity of the telecommunications branch.

While the basis of classical basic training of specialists consists of the proper information and professional staffing and formations of professional practical skills, modern material and technical support is needed.

So according to the strategy of development for the specialty «075 Marketing», the ceremonial opening of the educational laboratory of market researches at the State telecommunications university was held on March 6, 2017. Both, students and teachers of department of marketing, were waiting for this event. The room № 417, which has been assigned to department of marketing, was renovated, equipped with modern computers, loaded with the necessary software.

Teachers of the marketing department have developed thematic stands for laboratory which have combined classical and innovative concepts of marketing, features of marketing in the sphere of telecommunications, the main components of the organization of market researches and as their investigation – results of a research of influence of advertising on various categories of consumers.

The red ribbon was solemnly cut by the rector of the State university of telecommunications Professor Tolubko V.B. The opening of the laboratory was followed by the greetings and congratulations.

The head of the department of marketing a Doctor of Economical Sciences, Professor Vinogradova E. V. has told about the main objectives and tasks of laboratory, contents and prospects of market researches. On the basis of laboratory realization of a practical component of training of students is planned:

  • the organization of the certified courses;
  • providing skills of use of the latest instruments of marketing;
  • practical skills training of the market researches organization;
  • organization of research, economically-agreed work;
  • providing consulting services on the organization and improvement of marketing activity.

The subject and the methodology of teaching is a level indicator of the present, innovation of educational institution. A famous American writer, Will Durant once said, "Education is a broadcast of a civilization." Therefore, worthy education at our university is the key to the worthy employment, career success of our graduate students, future of our country and civilization.
