Interactive teaching methods can be used for almost all types of learning: distance, classroom, distance learning, online, etc. During the interactive classes, the teacher and the student are on equal terms, on the same level, the teacher not only teaches the material, but also becomes an active participant in the discussion, directing it in the right direction. Any interactive classes are useful because they teach you to express your thoughts and defend your point of view.
Among the methods that are actively used in the educational process, we should mention the blended learning (Blended Learning), which combines interactive techniques with information technology. This method of teaching with the use of computers, textbooks and various additional materials is becoming increasingly popular and in particular, at the State University of Telecommunications and is being successfully implemented in the educational process. It is popular among students to work with blogs or websites that cover current events on the web portals of well-known publications, to obtain the necessary information, post comments.
Prospects for the use of information technology training include participation in international video conferences, multimedia presentations, professional projects, distance learning and more.
Thus, innovative learning technologies, intensifying the process of acquiring knowledge is an important component of the formation of professional foreign language communicative competence. They open access to new sources of information, intensify the processes of mental processing of foreign language information, provide new opportunities for the formation of professional and linguistic skills, allow the implementation of interactive teaching methods.
The use of interactive educational and multimedia technologies, professional-oriented and problem-based approaches to learning to achieve communicative goals through professional interactive activities will further improve the process of learning English professionally and the formation of foreign language professional competence in 1st and 2nd year students of the State University of Telecommunications.
