The use of new information technologies in the study of Mathematics at the State University of Telecommunications
Study of mathematics develops analytical thinking and provides the basic knowledge and skills in using mathematical models of processes and phenomena in telecommunication systems, information security, management communication companies, and so on.
Traditionally, most of the operations in the study of mathematics are done analytically. For example, the calculation of mathematical objects, differentiation, integration, solution of differential equations and more.
But in our university used new information technologies based on computer media is for students studying mathematics.
In this class , each student is working on an automated workplace -based PC using modern application package «Maxima» (Massachusetts Institute of Technology development, no less powerful than MathCad, MathLab), which allows any mathematical calculation of the visualization and results display and process solutions.
This allows each student to learn more efficiently mathematical calculation, replace the cumbersome analytical calculations and computer modeling to solve mathematical problems in volume training program in the field of telecommunications and information security.
